The SC model is the latest of “Through-The-Wall,” Self Contained Wine Cellar Cooling Systems offered by WhisperKOOL. This series is available in 5 model numbers from the 2000i to the 8000i, and cools properly insulated rooms from 300′ cubic up to 2000′ cubic. These coolers are simple to install because they fit between standard wall studs that are spaced 16″ on center and plug into a standard 110 Volt outlet. You should however, have a dedicated electrical line for your WhisperKOOL.
Prior to the SC model was the WK WhisperKOOL cooler unit. If you have a WK model that needs to be replaced, use the SC with the same model number as your WK as a direct replacement. You will not need to alter the existing opening in your wall. It will be a very easy installation.
